Man from Sarajevo died during the Peace March towards Srebrenica

A man whose initials are H.H. from Sarajevo died today in Ravni Buljim, municipality of Srebrenica, during the “March of Peace”, announced the Zvornik Police Department.

It was reported to the Srebrenica police station around 4:00 p.m. that an unknown male person, a participant in this march, had died in Ravni Buljim, on the way to Potočari.

Members of the Zvornik Police Department conducted an on-site investigation and determined that the person in question was H.H. from Sarajevo.

The investigation was also attended by a doctor from the intervention team of this group, who confirmed the death of the mentioned person.

The body of the deceased was transported to the Srebrenica Health Center.

The duty prosecutor of the District Public Prosecutor’s Office in Bijeljina, Regional Office of Srebrenica, was informed about this.

The police continue to work on documenting this event.

On Monday, July 8, the “March of Peace” started from Nezuk near Sapna towards Potočari, where the 29th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide in July 1995 will be marked tomorrow in the Memorial Center, Srna writes.
