Great humanitarian and marathon runner from Sarajevo, Mahir Mujic, who recently completed humanitarian action for little girl Dalal who is suffering from severe disease and collected more than 11,000 BAM, now started a new action within which he is planning to collect 5,000 BAM for little Afan Selimovic from Visoko.

“This time I will sell kilometres that I will run the Sarajevo half marathon, which starts on September 16, and then the share from Sarajevo, through Kobilja Glava and to Visoko. I will run 50 kilometers, and each of them is on sale for 100 BAM” said Mujic.

Mujic said that the action started yesterday and it will last until September 22.

“There are several Facebook groups that I am following, and I realized that little Afan really needs our help. I talked to Afan’s mother and she told me that they just came from Zagreb and that he needs about 16,000 BAM for his surgery,” said this humanitarian.

To recall, five-year-old Afan was born in 28th week, and he got fourth-grade brain bleeding during the birth, which caused a strong stroke. Doctors diagnosed him with hydrocephalus, microcephaly, respiratory syndrome, epilepsy, and cerebral paralysis.

According to Mujic, he will transfer all the money on Afan’s account on Monday, September 24, and he will publicly announce the amount.

“I will do everything from my heart and in a transparent way,” stated Mujic.
