The Ministry of Security of BiH will host the forums and committees of the Regional Initiative of Migration, Asylum and Refugees (MARRI).

The MARRI Forum will be held tomorrow in the building of the BiH institution starting at 10:00.

Delegations from six countries in the region, members of MARRI (Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, Macedonia and BiH), and representatives of international organizations will attend the forum for Migration (IOM), EU Delegation in BiH, Council of Europe and other international organizations and institutions.

The topics of the forum are migration and asylum, and the forum will be held unde the Presidency of the BiH Regional Initiative of Migration, Asylum and Refugees-MARRI.

BiH and countries that are members of MARRI Initiative recognized this area as very important for all the countries in the region in the process of EU integration, regardless of whether they are candidate countries or are waiting to gain status of a candidate country in the near future. This is given that the global approach to migration and mobility in the EU is based on four equally important pillars: legal migration and mobility, unregulated migration and human trafficking, international protection and asylum and impact of migration and mobility on the development of countries of origin.
