nobilNoBil used to be the first private car parts store in Yugoslavia, but when the then owner decided to manufacture mattresses, it became the first factory of mattresses in BiH. In an interview with Klix.ba director of NoBil Sandra Vukadin said that her father, a former owner of NoBil, had a vision that mattresses were needed in BiH.

“My father had a vision to make mattresses, especially after the war, because before then no one did that. We were completely amateurs, went to other factories, bought mattresses and cut them to see what is inside. During the first few years we had nine employees, with the cheapest mattresses, and later, after we invested a fair amount of money, the business became more serious. Ten years ago we weren’t sure if we should start a retail or continue with wholesale, but today we have nine retail outlets in BiH” said Vukadin.

In the beginning NoBil made about 80 mattresses in one shift, and now we produce 150 to 170. The difference, except in the number of manufactured mattress is in the way of making them, now we have over 50 different kinds.

The company has today 95 people working hard and fulltime to meet their customers’ needs.

In addition to mattresses and bedding products according to EU standards for European Union countries, for our products, special mattresses and beds that differ in size, shape, materials used to make …

“The fact is that we do not believe BH manufacturers, but our products are exported to major companies around the world. Good examples in BiH are rarely mentioned, but I get surprised every time I hear that a BH company works for some in Europe. Our products are sold in the EU very nicely” adds Vukadin.

What encourages this factory for business in the EU is a quality that is constant. Today, all production capacities in NoBil are maximized, and they are not able to receive more orders.

“The most important thing is constant quality. We export to the EU for more than nine years with one truck of matresses per week, and in the future we will export beds with two to four trucks a week” said Vukadin.

NoBil plans to expand their business and markets through new manufacturing facilities, and therefore new jobs will be available.
