bih i euEuropean Commissioner Štefan Fuele sent a letter to BiH officials for a new round of dialogue at a high level of the European Union – BiH‘s EU accession process, which will be held on the 1st October in Brussels, wrote today, “Dnevni Avaz”.

Participants are the leaders of the seven political parties in BiH, Zlatko Lagumdžija (SDP), Milorad Dodik (SNSD), Dragan Čović (HDZ), Fahrudin Radončić (SBB), Mladen Bosić (SDS), Martinj Raguž (HDZ 1990) and Sulejman Tihić (SDA).

To Brussels will go even, Željko Komšić, Chairman of the Presidency of BiH (DF), Chairman of the Council of Ministers Vjekoslav Bevanda (HDZ), Prime Minister of the Federation and RS Nermin Niksić (SDP) and Željka Cvijanović (SNSD) and the Mayor of the District of Brčko Anto Domić (HDZ).

Also, during the talks should participate Nevenka Savić, Director of the Directorate for European Integration, and Igor Davidović, Ambassador of BiH to the EU.

As ‘Avaz’ was informed, during the dialogue will be discussed, meeting the most important conditions that have been set for BiH on the path towards the EU. Thus, will be analyzed the agreed criteria from the last year.

It is expected that special attention to be paid on the implementation of the judgment “Sejdić–Finci”.

‘Avaz’ recalls that a year ago, Štefan Fuele to BiH officials presented the Roadmap in which it has been stated what is needed for BiH to become a candidate country for the EU. Fuele recently had harsh criticism on BiH leaders due to the fact, that the most important things agreed upon are not implemented such as the case of the implementation of the judgement “Sejdic–Finci” .

Judging by the information coming from Brussels, the new round of dialogue could be one of the last chances of leaders to catch a chance to the EU. The fact is, that the countries in the region are during great progress on meeting EU requirements, which threatens BiH complete isolation.
