The Chairman of the BiH Presidency Nebojša Radmanović received Valentin Inzko today, the High Representative of the International Community to BiH. They spoke about the overall political situation in BiH and the situation in the region.
Chairman Radmanović and the High Representative Inzko agreed that in BiH there is a stalemate when it comes to the process of constitutional reform, which represents an obstacle to further unfolding the integration process of BIH on the path to the EU.
They expressed hope that an agreement would be reached as soon as possible on changes to the Constitution, so that BiH would successfully follow countries in the region in the process of EU integration.
Chairman Radmanović and High Representative Inzko exchanged opinions of cooperation between countries in the region, as well as the planned visit of the BIH Presidency to Belgrade.
High Representative Inzko expressed satisfaction in the development of good bilateral relations with Serbia and other countries in the region, which are very important for the overall political, and above all, economic relations for the Western Balkans. He praised the approach of the BiH Presidency for the efforts and for these relations and further cooperation to develop in a positive direction and towards the future.
Chairman Radmanović spoke to the High Representative of the upcoming working visit to Austria in the framework of a planned meeting with the President of Austria Heinz Fischer, as well as the business forum between BiH and Austria. Many firms from BiH and Austria expressed interest in the forum.
