President of HDZ BiH and member of the Presidency of BiH from Croat nation Dr. Dragan Čović, together with party delegation and officials across all levels of authority, held a meeting with the president of HDZ RH and the first vice-president of the Croatian government Tomislav Karamarko and the party delegation today in Ravno.
Mayor of Ravno Municipality Andrija Šimunović and President of the Municipal Board of HDZ BiH Ravno Stana Burić informed the delegations about the current economic and political situation in Ravno, as well as about the issues of importance for residents of this municipality.
Special emphasis was on projects, development of tourism, agricultural production and cross-border cooperation, as well as on the development of projects from the EU.
Situated close to Dubrovnik, Ravno Municipality has plenty of unused potentials such as the Vjetrenica cave. Conclusion was drawn at this meeting that all possibilities should be directed towards the development of this area.
Other topics at the meeting were current political and economic situation in Croatia and BiH and the position of Croat people in BiH. Participants of the meeting also discussed the improvement of cooperation between the two sisterly parties in the upcoming period and the local elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
