Meeting of Director of FIPA With Ambassador of Croatia to B&H

IMG_0001The Director of the Agency for Foreign Investment Promotion (FIPA) Jelica Grujić met with the Ambassador of Croatia to B&H HE Ivan Del Vechio and his associate Stanko Cmrečnjak yesterday. They spoke of the possibilities for cooperation, organizing business meetings between B&H and Croatian businesspeople in 2014 and the accession of Croatia to the EU and its implications on the B&H economy.

Among other things, Ambassador Del Vechio expressed interest in the work of the Agency, its competence, activities of promotion of investment projects, and the situation when it comes to the influx of foreign capital in B&H.

Director Grujić spoke about the importance of existing foreign investors in B&H not only for the economy, but also for the promotion of our country for other potential foreign investors. In 2014, besides promotion business zones and projects, the activities of FIPA will focus on supporting existing investors in order to motivate them to reinvest and to invest in other sectors.

It was concluded that only the cooperation of all relevant institutions in B&H could contribute to improving the inflow of foreign capital to the country.
