The Director of the State Agency for Investigation and Protection (SIPA) Goran Zubac held yesterday a meeting with a delegation of the Slovenian Ministry of Internal Affairs at the headquarters of the Agency.
They spoke of the exchange of concrete operational knowledge and the improvement of existing cooperation between SIPA and MUP Slovenia.
At the meeting they presented a police helicopter unit of the MUP of Slovenia, which has a long tradition. It is used for many purposes, mostly for police needs, as well as for humanitarian action.
Representatives of the Slovenian delegation said that this unit has proved to be very useful in performing a variety of tasks for the needs of the Unit for Combatting Organized Crime.
The Director of SIPA expressed interest in the work of the Unit, so that in the coming period SIPA would eventually apply a similar model after the formation of such a unit. This would be especially useful to the Agency in the fight against various forms of organized crime and terrorism.
This is one more meeting in a series of meetings that proves that SIPA is an equal partner in international police agencies.
The meeting was attended by the police attaché of MUP to the Embassy of Slovenia to BiH Goršek Janko and the Director of the Border Police of BiH Vinko Dumančić.
