ZASTAVA-BIH-1Political leaders in BiH will meet in Sarajevo tomorrow to discuss again the implementation of the ruling in the European Court on Human Rights in the case of “Sejdić-Finci”.

The Presidnet of HDZ 1990 Božo Ljubić confirmed the scheduled meeting.

“The meeting will be held in Sarajevo in the afternoon”, said Ljubić and added that the exact time will be known during the day.

This meeting will be a kind of continuation of the meeting in Brussels that was held on 22 March, where there was a somewhat agreed upon principle of the model of implementation of the ruling. According to unofficial information, it is a model that would be a combination of direct and indirect elections.

The meeting to be held tomorrow in Sarajevo is another attempt to find an adequate solution acceptable to everyone, by the time of the announced visit of the European Commissioner for Enlargement Štefan Fule to Mostar on 11 April.

The international community in the last few weeks warned political leaders in BiH that they do not have any more time to implement the ruling, and that this issue has to be solved now.
