Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sefik Dzaferovic extended congratulations to all workers in Bosnia and Herzegovina on the occasion of May 1 – International Labor Day and emphasized the historical symbolism of that date.

“That date reminds us of the multi-generational struggle of workers, thanks to which the basic workers’ rights were won and the ideals to which modern societies must strive were set. That struggle will not end until the right of all people to live with dignity on the basis of their work is fully protected,” wrote Dzaferovic.

“The task of all levels of government in Bosnia and Herzegovina is to commit to reforms and socio-economic dialogue in order to preserve, restore and create new jobs in this difficult time of the coronavirus pandemic, and to mitigate the consequences of the crisis, primarily in the real sector, which is the foundation of sustainability and progress of every society,” said Dzaferovic.
