Members of the specialized unit of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who traveled to the Republic of Turkey last week to carry out a humanitarian mission, are actively working to mitigate the consequences of the devastating earthquake in the Hatay Province, the city of Antakya.

Based on the priorities defined by the Turkish State Agency for Natural Disasters – AFAD, members of BiH Armed Forces work together with the Turkish humanitarian organization IHH (İnsan Hak ve Hürriyetleri İnşani Yardım Vakfı – İHH), with which members of the Mountain Rescue Service (GSS) from the Municipality of Novi Grad also cooperate, announced the Press Service of the Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Ministry stated that all the members of BiH AF feel good and are committed to fulfilling the task, even though the working conditions are extremely difficult.
