Members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, Denis Bećirović and Željko Komšić, sent a congratulation letter on the occasion of the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah to members of the Jewish community in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“I would like to extend my sincere congratulations on the occasion of Hanukkah – the great Jewish holiday of freedom, light, hope and faith in a better tomorrow. I wish you to celebrate the next eight-day celebration in good health and happiness, and the light of Hanukkah brings spiritual peace, well-being and family togetherness,” said Cvijanović in her message.

“The Jewish tradition is deeply rooted in Bosnian society, and I sincerely hope that all forms of discrimination in our homeland will be removed in the near future, so that together we can create a society of equal citizens,” stated in the congratulatory message of BiH Presidency member Željko Komšić.

“I extend my sincere congratulations on the occasion of Hanukkah, the great holiday of light. May this holiday of consecration fill your hearts and homes with warmth and bring prosperity, health, happiness and togetherness. May Hanukkah, a holiday that carries a universal message, be an incentive to build peace, tolerance, dialogue, and mutual understanding,” it is stated in Bećirović’s congratulatory message, announced the Press Service of the BiH Presidency.
