Members of BiH Presidency met with Slovenian PM

Members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina received the Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Robert Golob. The interlocutors stated that BiH and Slovenia’s bilateral relations are traditionally very good and friendly and that both countries are committed to their improvement and strengthening.

The interlocutor said that economic relations and trade relations between the two countries are good, but that there are opportunities for their improvement.

The members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina expressed their gratitude to the Republic of Slovenia for continuous and active support and assistance to Bosnia and Herzegovina on the European path, and especially for advocating for the granting of candidate status for membership in the European Union.

They pointed out that the granting of candidate status is an important milestone on Bosnia and Herzegovina’s path to the European Union, and that it represents a positive signal and a clear message that BiH’s future is in the European Union.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Robert Golob, said that by obtaining candidate status, BiH received a very clear message that our country has a European future.

He said that Slovenia, as a sincere friend of Bosnia and Herzegovina, actively advocated for the granting of candidate status to our country and that it is ready to provide Bosnia and Herzegovina with all the necessary professional and technical assistance on its European path,” stated the BiH Presidency.
