Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sefik Dzaferovic and Bosnia-Herzegovina’s Presidency Chairman Zeljko Komsic spoke with ambassadors of the Quint countries and the head of the EU Delegation to Bosnia-Herzegovina. The topic of the talks was the implementation of the decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH and the crisis caused by the blockade of state institutions by representatives of political parties from the Republika Srpska entity.
Presidency members informed US Ambassadors Eric Nelson, UK Matt Field, Germany Margret Webber, France Guillaume Rousson and Italy Nicola Minasi, and EU Representative in BiH Johann Sattler, stating that two BiH Presidency members would not agree to any political ultimatume. They stressed that blocking the work of state institutions is absolutely unacceptable.
The Ambassadors were conveyed the resolute position of the members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and their firm commitment to strict compliance with the Dayton Peace Agreement, the Constitution of BiH and the decisions of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The role of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and foreign judges in it, as a mechanism of protection of the Constitution of BiH, the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, was underlined.
Presidency members stressed that all solutions must be the fruit of dialogue, exclusively within the BiH Constitution and European standards, and not in any attempt to dominate or ultimately impose any policy, Fena reports.
