Members of the Mountain Rescue Service of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina rescued one person last night on Prenj Mountain, who was then transported by EUFOR helicopter for further medical treatment.

The rescue operation was carried out last night in the locality of Poljica, below Kapuljaca on Prenj.

Members of the Mountain Rescue Service, Mostar station, took part in the action, and several nearby stations were put on standby, considering that the work was being done on a demanding terrain, and there was also the possibility of a long transport of the victim.

For this reason, the EUFOR helicopter was engaged for emergency evacuation and the injured was successfully transported to the hospital for further medical treatment.

The action ended at 11:33 p.m., it was announced from the Mountain Rescue Service of FBiH.
