The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) sentenced Ognjen Muharemovic and Slobodan Samardzija to one year in prison and a fine of seven thousand BAM for organized crime and aggravated theft.

In the case of Ognjen Muharemovic and Slobodan Samardzija, after the hearing for the consideration of the plea agreement and the hearing for imposing the sanction, the court rendered a verdict declaring Muharemovic and Samardzija guilty.

They were sentenced to a prison sentence of one year, as well as a secondary fine in the amount of seven thousand BAM, which they are obliged to pay within 30 days from the date of finality of the verdict.

In the same case, the Court of BiH issued rulings against the defendants and extended their travel ban.

Muharemovic was arrested in August 2021 in Pale as part of the “Wheel” Operation.

The “Wheel” Operation, in which Muharemovic has now been arrested, is the largest and most historic indictment in BiH, which includes the car theft gang. Some of the main actors in this indictment are Danilo Cicovic, Marko Trifkovic Zizan, Srecko Trifkovic, Slaven Dakic Zuco, Srecko Mandic, Miroslav Skobo, and many others.

It should be recalled that Samardzija was arrested in May 2023 in Posusje, Klix.ba reports.
