Members of the Ministry of Interior are conducting Search of House of the BiH Ambassador to Qatar

Members of the Ministry of Interior of the Sarajevo Canton are conducting searches at several locations in Sarajevo, and among them is the family home of the former mayor of Sarajevo and the current BiH ambassador to Qatar, Abdulah Skaka, it was confirmed for BHRT in the CS Prosecutor’s Office.

Several people were taken to the official premises of the Police Department of the CSMoI, it was announced from the CSMoI.

The action is carried out due to the suspicion of committing several criminal acts, among others: abuse of position, unscrupulous work in the service, forgery of an official document, giving a gift and other forms of benefits.

Based on the reports received over the past few years, the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office in Sarajevo has opened several cases against the former mayor of Sarajevo.
