The President of the Republika Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik said that the RS managed to reach the most powerful people in the world and that he is proud of the fair attitude of the Russians.
“We are proud of the long-term fair attitude of the Russians towards us,” Dodik said after meeting with the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev in Moscow.
Dodik asked what if there is no Dayton Agreement?
He pointed out that he started telling his interlocutors that it is okay to support the Dayton Agreement, but Dodik asked what if there is no Dayton Agreement?
“Or what if they realize that property should be confiscated from RS, does RS have their support to continue to exist,” asks Dodik.
Moreover, Dodik said that he heard from Patrushev, one of the closest associates of Russian President Vladimir Putin, that these are the most frequent meetings between him and Putin, which he looks forward to.
Dodik added that he had no intention of annoying anyone, but pointed out that the small RS with all its problems managed to reach the most powerful people in the world.
“The fact that the Americans’ hair is standing on end, they in Brussels don’t know what to do about that, and what I should do, they didn’t give us any other chance,” said Dodik.
Exchange of opinions on security issues
Patrushev said earlier that he is glad that the President of the RS is the guest of honor at the 11th international meeting of high representatives dealing with security issues, which should be held tomorrow, May 24th.
“We are very grateful for your participation, and I am sure that the exchange of opinions on security issues in contemporary geopolitical conditions will be of interest,” Patrushev said and thanked Dodik for the visit.
Furthermore, Patrushev pointed out that he highly values the partnership in the spirit of trust, which is very special between Russia and the RS.
Dodik is on a several-day visit to Russia, and today, as he previously stated, he should meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Avaz reports.
