Milan Coach Allegri Reveals: Luka Modric Is Arriving

The coach of Milan’s football team, Massimiliano Allegri, announced yesterday that Luka Modric will sign for that club and will join his team in August.

“He arrives in August. He is an extraordinary and important player; there is no need to introduce him,” said Allegri.

Since 2012, Modric has been playing for Real Madrid, which he will leave after the end of this year’s FIFA Club World Cup.

The Croatian midfielder has won 28 trophies with Real Madrid and is the most decorated player in the club’s history.

He won six Champions League trophies, four Spanish league titles, two Copa del Rey titles, five Spanish Super Cups, five UEFA Super Cups, five FIFA Club World Cup titles, and one Intercontinental Cup.

For Real, he played 590 matches, scored 43 goals, and recorded 95 assists.

He also won the Ballon d’Or in 2018, in which, among other things, he won a silver medal with the Croatian national team at the World Cup in Russia.

Allegri also stated that Theo Hernandez will leave the club, as well as that Mike Maignan, who was linked with a move to Chelsea, will stay in his team and be its captain.

Milan finished the 2024/2025 season without a single trophy and in eighth place in Serie A, which means they will not play in any international competition next season.
