Bosnia and Herzegovina’s (BiH’s) Presidency Member Milorad Dodik said Russian President Vladimir Putin has a good understanding of the situation in BiH, even in detail, to which he is grateful, adding that he expects that the next meeting with Putin will be soon.
Dodik told the Russian reporter that it was far from realistic for BiH to impose sanctions on Russia, and that he would refuse EU membership if it were a condition for joining the Union.
He added that Russia’s position towards BiH is principled, that Moscow respects international law, which gives Republika Srpska some certainty, since the West is constantly violating international law.
“Taking care of respect for this right is a huge help to us from Russia. I am grateful to Russia for the support, first and foremost, of the United Nations and the Security Council, as our voice can be heard, “Dodik said, and thanked Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Radiosarajevo reports.
