Miners demanded a collective Agreement at the May Day Protest

Under the slogan “Dignified Collective Agreement for Mining in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina”, the miners organized a May Day protest march in Sarajevo today, demanding an agreed collective agreement and other rights.

Carrying the flags of Bosnia and Herzegovina and mining symbols, they gathered on the plateau of the Railway Station, from where they headed towards the Government of the Federation, and then to the Electric Power Industry of BiH.

The President of the FBiH Mine Workers’ Union, Sinan Husic, said that the miners are ready for the negotiation process, but also for any kind of trade union struggle in order to reach a dignified collective agreement for mining in the Federation of BiH.

“I am sure that in the coming days, in accordance with the decisions of all bodies and bodies of trade unions in coal mines in FBiH, with the huge support of workers from all mines we have no doubt, we will realize our goal regarding the content of the collective agreement. this year,” said Husic.
