The management board of the independent union of mine workers of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina sent a request to the competent federal minister, Nermin Đindić, to urgently organize a meeting in order to solve the problem in the Zenica Brown Coal Mine.
The request of the Trade Union is that Minister Đindic hold a meeting tomorrow at the latest with representatives of Elektroprivreda BiH, the City Administration and the director of the Zenica Brown Coal Mine.
The Management Board of the Mines Union demands that all those responsible determine the way to solve the unblocking of the mine’s accounts, and that the workers be paid back wages and hot meals.
The miners of the Zenica Brown Coal Mine continue their labor disobedience and will not resume production until the accounts are unblocked.
The trade union committee will continue its regular session and during the weekend will make a decision on the next steps it will take until, as they say, the goal is achieved, which is the payment of salary for February and hot meals for January and February.
The City Administration of the City of Zenica has not announced the adopted conclusions of the City Council, added Sinan Husić, President of the Independent Union of Mine Workers of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Political entity BH initiative-Kasumović Fuad, held a media conference where they pointed out that the City Administration will not act on those conclusions.
