Minic Assumed Office, Announced Transparency In Work

In Banja Luka, the handover of duties was carried out between the previous government and the new Republika Srpska (RS) government led by Savo Minic, who was proposed for this position by former RS president Milorad Dodik. Minic has previously served as the RS Minister of Agriculture.

The Bosniak Caucus considers the election of the new RS Government unconstitutional

The handover of duties, i.e., the publication in the “Official Gazette of RS” regarding the appointment of the new RS Government, was delayed until the Bosniak Caucus in the RS Council of Peoples held a session. The Bosniak Caucus did not initiate the mechanism for protecting the vital national interest, because, as the head of the Caucus Alija Tabakovic said, it was decided that the decision should be published in the “Official Gazette of RS” as soon as possible so that the appellant could submit an appeal for a review of constitutionality to the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).

The Bosniak Caucus considers the election of the new RS Government unconstitutional because it comes in the circumstances following the final ruling against Milorad Dodik as RS president, in which the Court of BiH imposed a ban on holding public office for the next six years, and after his mandate was revoked by the Central Election Commission (CEC) of BiH.

Minic himself did not want to comment on this and stated that he is focusing on the efficient work of the government.

It is not serious to talk about Serdarov and the Olympic Center “Jahorina” shares now

“The government will work transparently, and ministers are obliged to submit plans for everything they will do in the next 100 days,” Minic said after the constitutive session.

Asked whether there is money to pay Rasid Serdarov and whether the RS Government will continue to buy shares of Olympic Center “Jahorina,” Minic said it would be irresponsible to talk about that now.
