Savo Minić, who was proposed by Milorad Dodik as the prime minister-designate even though the Central Election Commission of BiH stripped him of his mandate after the final verdict of the Court of BiH, stated today that “a minority is trying to impose a story about the legitimacy of the future RS government”.
– The question here is whether someone is in favor of what is happening, that is, is he in favor of Schmidt and everything he imposed, or is he in favor of the story that RS is going in a different direction, a legal direction so that what happened to Macedonia does not happen to us – said Minić at a press conference.
If the future government does not have legitimacy, as he said, it should be left to the institutions to determine that.
– Here, you have the Court and the Prosecutor’s Office and the Constitutional Court of BiH. If it is as you say, they will certainly confirm your claims. If not, we will continue to work. But, you will see that it will be the latter – replied Minić to a journalist’s question about the legitimacy of the future RS government, bearing in mind that Milorad Dodik was stripped of his mandate after the final verdict of the Court of BiH.
Minić today held consultations with social partners: employers, unions, agricultural producers, and pensioners.
The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, Nenad Stevandić, expects that a session to elect the new government of the Republic of Srpska should be held early next week.
