Yesterday, the Minister of Economy of the Canton Sarajevo (CS), Adnan Delic, visited the pavilion of Ukraine at the Expo 2020 Dubai exhibition in order to express his support for the people of this country in the difficult times of aggression they are going through these days.

During the conversation with the director of the pavilion Ivan Sydorenko, Delic stressed that in BiH they understand well what the people of Ukraine are going through because our wounds from the past aggression are still fresh.

“We stand by you and our support is unquestionable, despite everything, because we know what it means to defend ourselves from aggressors. We have survived the aggression, destruction, and killing of innocent people. This flower I carry is a symbol of Srebrenica, the city where genocide was committed in which 8.372 Bosnian Muslims were killed in a few days. We want you to emerge victorious from this war, “ Minister Delic told the pavilion director.

Ivan Sydorenko thanked Delic for the time he took to visit the pavilion, as well as for his support and friendship.

“Ukraine is going through hard times, some of our cities have simply disappeared in the past twenty days, they are gone. Russian media limit information, we ask everyone who supports us to talk and write about what is happening in our country because people need to know the truth,” emphasized Sydorenko.

He also stated that the entire pavilion has been renovated in the past few days and that everything is focused on the current situation in their country.

“We have changed everything, everything we have done in recent years to present at the Expo we have now subordinated to this situation. We want people to know what is happening and we are fighting for the support of the international community. Every day more countries are standing by Ukraine and the people of Ukraine. You see, all our walls of the pavilion are full of messages of support for our country and our people, “Sydorenko mentioned.

Ukraine has a pavilion with four floors at the Expo, and a display has been installed in the central part of the pavilion explaining why Russia wants to occupy Ukraine.
