The Federal Minister of Energy, Mining, and Industry, Nermin Dzindic, stated in Sarajevo that the process in which the bridging service period for public and private companies has been completed.
“When it comes to private companies, around 1.7 million BAM for 142 employees has been approved. Finally, 142 workers will deservedly retire. As for public companies, the total amount is close to 1 million BAM, 61 employees will retire. This year, we had 10 million funds for the bridging service period.Unfortunately, not all funds will be spent. We will try to publish another ad by the end of this year, “ said Djindjic.
On this occasion, he referred to the Information on the situation in the mines, which was discussed at yesterday‘s session by the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH).
“The information was made by the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining, and Industry, and consists of the general overview of the situation in the mining sector with total debts and problems, which unfortunately accompany this sector. In this information, we have included the last request by the mineworkers union related to the fullfiling of 13 points. Out of 13 points, 7 points are completely acceptable. There are 2 points where the coordination of the points with the legal solutions needs to be carried out so we wouldn’t get into a new problem. There are other points that need to be discussed at the meeting we agreed with the union tonight at 7 p.m. in the FBiH Government building, “ Dzindic emphasized yesterday.
