Minister Kosarac: The Latest Court Rulings are Unacceptable, Republika Srpska Will Resolve the RTRS Issue

The Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Stasa Kosarac, said that Radio-Television of Republika Srpska is a symbol for Republiką Srpska and that the latest court rulings to the detriment of this public broadcaster are unacceptable.

Kosarac believes that it is a fact that everything that was imposed by high representatives, which is the case when it comes to the public RTV system in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is completely inefficient and unsustainable.

“It is well-known that any connection with the institutions at the level of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina or at the state level of Bosnia and Herzegovina always, as a rule, costs the institutions of Republika Srpska in an unfair manner. The same happened with RTRS. Srpska has never received anything good from Sarajevo,” Kosarac emphasized.

He stressed that the state level of Bosnia and Herzegovina is blocking Republika Srpska in its activities and efforts. He cited RTRS and the judiciary as examples.

“We have pointed out multiple times that we have an alienated center of power, people who understand absolutely nothing, beyond the need to ingratiate themselves with certain bodies in Sarajevo that appoint judges and prosecutors. I believe that through future developments in institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, we will resolve certain issues,” Kosarac said.

He expressed confidence that the capacities of Republika Srpska are such that an adequate solution for RTRS will be found, Klix.ba writes.
