The Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska, Dragan Lukac, stated that it is not true that this ministry enumerates members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and security agencies of exclusively Bosniak nationality.

“This is a classic police job done by all the world’s police forces in their security sectors. There are sector leaders who are in charge of having all the information, from who lives in his sector, who does what, especially people employed in republican or state institutions, “Lukac told RTRS.

He also mentioned that this does not apply only to members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and security agencies of Bosniak nationality, but to everyone in the Republika Srpska.

According to him, these people can help the RS Ministry of the Interior in gathering information about security-interesting people in the sector, discovering perpetrators of criminal acts, and any events that could disrupt security.

He said that he had a meeting on this topic with the Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Selmo Cikotic, and explained to him what it was about.
