Minister Osmić at the NATO Summit in Wales

SUMMIT: The Celtic Manor Resort, Newport.The Minister of Defense of B&H Zekerijah Osmić is a member of the state delegation of B&H at the NATO Summit in Wales, Celtic Manor Resort, which is held from 3rd to 5th September this year.

The state delegation of B&H, led by the Chairman of the Presidency of B&H Bakir Izetbegović, consists also of the representatives of the Ministry of defense and Armed forces of B&H, led by the Minister of defense Zekerijah Osmić and general-colonel Anto Jeleč.

The NATO Summit represents periodic meetings of the leaders of countries or governments of the member states of NATO, every two years, where it is been assessed how the NATO works and which direction to take concerning the future activities.

The last NATO Summit was held in 2012 in Chicago and was dedicated to the Afghanistan issues, the end of transition and the NATO’s involvement after the year 2014 – was announced from the PR service of the Ministry of defense of B&H.
