The Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Stasa Kosarac, stated that the property of the Republika Srpska (RS) is a Serb national issue and that “the RS is the titleholder of all property on its territory”.
Kosarac pointed out that “the issue of property was resolved by the Dayton Agreement and the Geneva Principles, where it is clearly stated that the RS disposes of its 49 percent of territory”.
“Srpska is determined to defend and preserve its property, which was confirmed at yesterday’s session of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament. Serb representatives yesterday showed unity, rejecting the tendentious draft law on so-called state property,” said Kosarac.
He assessed that Serb unity is the best way to preserve the vital interests of the RS and protect its capacities.
“The Bosniak draft law on so-called state property is not a solution, but an unsolvable problem for BiH. They are aware that Srpska will never accept renouncing its property, because it is guaranteed to it by the Dayton Agreement,” Kosarac emphasized.
He said that “Bosniak politicians know that the law on so-called state property will never pass for them, but they persistently push that story in the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH (PABiH), with the desire to ultimately force an unconstitutional and illegal intervention by the fake high representative Christian Schmidt”.
“Gentlemen, be very careful with that. That is a headlong wrong path for BiH, from which there will be no return. The property of Srpska is a red line. It is a sacred thing that we will defend at any cost,” Kosarac conveyed.
