Minister Trhulj on Work Visit to Washington

trhuljFederation Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Erdal Trhulj visited the USA this week, where he attended a reception named “Possibilities of Business Cooperation of the USA and BiH” in famous Cosmos Club on Monday, September 15.

Within the reception, Trhulj presented investment possibilities in BiH and successful cooperation in area of defense industry.

Newly appointed director of Department for South East and Central Europe at State Department Tom Yazdgerdi and associates attended the presentation, as well as representatives of the U.S. Government, Congressmen George Holding and Robert Aderholt, CEOs of investment funds from New York, representatives of companies of defense industry from the USA, ambassadors accredited in Washington, CEOs of think-thank organizations and Ambassador of BiH to the USA Jadranka Negodić.

Trhulj was an honorary guest at Cosmos Club in Washington, whose members include distinguished politicians of the USA and great artists.

Additionally, Trhulj will meet with the U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of Energy Resources Robert Ichord, Senators James Risch and David Vitter, and representatives of the military committee at the U.S. Congress.

Within a project of library of the U.S. Congress, which BiH is participating in as well, on September 16, panel discussion will be held in Washington named “Retrospective 1914 – 2014: From beginning of World War I to Date”.

Promotional film on BiH as a tourist destination will be screening in the Congress. This project, during his visit to Washington, was launched by Sarajevo Canton prime minister at the time Suad Zeljković.
