The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in BIH, in cooperation with the office of the special representative of the EU to BIH will organize from 18-19 June in Sarajevo a ministerial conference on the topic “Arms control as part of the framework of EU accession”.
The conference will be composed of two panels, ‘arms trade’ and ‘campaign for collection and registration of small arms and light weapons’, with moderators and speakers from the office of the special representative of the EU, Europol, UNDP, and experts from the region.
The special representative of the EU to BIH and the residential coordinator of the UN to BIH, Peter Sorensen and Yuri Afanasiev, respectively, will open tomorrow’s conference, announced today from the UN in BiH.
