knjigeSector for Diaspora of BiH Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees will be the sponsor of presentation of BiH Diaspora writers during the 25th International Book Fair which will be held from 17 to 22 April in Sarajevo.

Deputy minister Ruzmira Kadrić-Tihić said  the event has become traditional for the Ministry and for BiH writers from Diaspora.

She has announced rich promotion of BiH Diaspora writers, and apart from that BiH Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees, in other words, Diaspora Sector will present one of its editions, which is a scientific work from the scientific workshop on BiH emigration.

‘That field is not well explored in BiH and very little is known about BiH Diaspora. That is the first edition of works of that kind in BiH and it is very significant for creators of policies, the sector of scholars and for BiH public’, said Kadrić-Tihić.

Kadrić-Tihić notes that the Ministry expects that authors from BiH Diaspora, who’ll present their works on this year’s fair, will be winners of several awards.

‘Every year, writers from Diaspora win significant awards at the book fair. I believe it’ll be this year too’, added she.

Ministry is satisfied with the work of cultural experts from Diaspora on Sarajevo Book Fair.

‘It is the event, which makes all of us, who work in the Sector happy. The stand of BiH Diaspora writers is different from other stands of the fair, it is the place of meetings and pleasant atmosphere’, said Kadrić-Tihić.
