SARAJEVO, July 20 (Xinhua)– Whatever Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) needs on its path to the European Union (EU), Montenegro will offer expert assistance and share experiences, Parliament speaker Ivan Brajovic said during his meetings with BiH officials here on Thursday.

During the meeting, Chairman of the Council of Minister Denis Zvizdic congratulated Montenegro’s citizens on NATO membership and stressed that Montenegro is an important factor in the region in the area of stability and peace.

Both interlocutors agreed that there are no open issues between BiH and Montenegro and that relations between the two states can be an example of good co-operation.

“Relations between the two states are on the upward path and I am satisfied with the co-operation of two countries. I do not think there are limits to the cooperation between Montenegro and BiH,” Brajovic said after meeting the Zvizdic.

There is room for even better quality economic, cultural and trade cooperation, and the work should be done to improve relations in these segments in the forthcoming period, a press release of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers’ cabinet reads.

BiH and Montenegro concluded numerous agreements, and they are in the phase of signing the agreement on the joint use of diplomatic and consular missions. The agreements on the EU integration and on the state border that stabilized the relations was concluded earlier.
