Entity Assembly accepts Resignation of RS Prime Minister

The deputies of the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska have accepted the resignation of Savo Minić from the position of Prime Minister, thus concluding this session.

As a reminder, Minić resigned from this position for the second time today and said that this would only be formal. His resignation also implies the resignation of the Government of the Republika Srpska.

Minić’s resignation was supported by 49 deputies, without debate, and the opposition deputies did not attend the special session.

The Prime Minister of the Republika Srpska, Savo Minić, stated that a new Government would be elected soon.

He emphasized that he would be the prime minister-designate for the composition of the new Government, after consulting with the entity President Siniša Karan.
