Two nights ago, a monument to the murdered citizens of Sarajevo was desecrated on Kazani above Sarajevo. The mayor of Sarajevo announced that the monument would be cleaned as soon as possible, which was done.
“The damage to the monument in Kazani was repaired within 24 hours. I hope that all the monuments in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which are very often the target of ill-intentioned people, will be repaired and preserved with the same speed. Sarajevo respects and remembers”, said Karić.
As a reminder, it is still not known who the vandals are who did this, nor why they did it.
“Caco lives in us. Number 10”, is written in red spray on the monument.
Let us remind you that 14 soldiers of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ARBiH) have been sentenced to sentences ranging from 10 months to six years in prison for the crimes at Kazani.
The crime was committed by members of the 10th Mountain Brigade of the ARBiH under the command of Mušan Topalović Caco.
