The project component 1 was aimed at restructuring the primary health protection.
All above mentioned activities were successfully implemented within the intended deadline. Future activities include certification of family medicine teams in accordance with defined dynamics and project concept, primarily, the development of information system for primary health protection in the FB&H, such as the procurement of IT equipment for health centers, development of software for information system, and professional support to the development of information system. Given that the VAT was returned according to IDA agreement and based on the decision of the FB&H Government and the fact that means are secured on the project account, conditions were created for the finalization of procurement of software application and missing IT equipment for remaining cantons which formally expressed needs for the procurement of those.
