The 10th Regional Conference of Educators will be held in Hotel Holiday in Sarajevo, and it will gather more than 300 teachers from all levels of education, from the six countries of the former Yugoslavia.

More than 100 presentations and workshops as well as more than 140 lecturers will be included in the conference that will last until August 26.

Besides the professional exchange and presentation of the best practices in the field of education and winners of the award for innovative teachers in BiH, this year’s conference “Teachers in Action” will also represent a great opportunity for starting dialogue with citizens on the topic of what kind of education we want and need for our children, which values should be further promoted, and how to help our children develop critical thinking etc.

There will be activities for children of all ages organized during the Saturday afternoon in Strosmajerova Street, and during that time parents can “drink coffee with …” numerous educators, psychologists, teachers and other professionals from the field of education.

Participants of this conference will make a poll with the citizens, and you will be able to read the messages that innovative teachers from BiH and other countries want to send on posters that will be placed in the center of Sarajevo.

You can find more information about the conference on the official website of the Center for Education Initiative “Step by Step”.
