More than 50 Thousand Viewers in Cinemas across Bosnia and Europe watched “Testament”

The domestic feature film “Testament – Amanet 2” has been seen by more than 50,000 viewers in cinemas across Bosnia and Herzegovina and Europe in just 12 days since its premiere.

As stated in a statement by the distribution company Una Film, this is the most watched BiH film in the last 20 years, and for the second week in a row it has been number one on the BiH box office list, far ahead of much more expensive Hollywood films. Namely, “Testament” has brought more than 40,000 viewers to cinemas across Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It is also added that in some cities all cinemas have been sold out three days in advance. There is great interest even in areas that do not have equipped cinemas, so the producers, together with the distributor, have enabled a traveling cinema with the desire to bring this film story to as many citizens of BiH as possible.

“As we learned from the film’s distributors for European countries, cinema chains were surprised by the public’s interest in this film, so in some cities, such as Munich, Berlin and Zurich, they opened as many as 15 theaters, which were filled to capacity. The result is almost 15,000 viewers in just three days in European cinemas,” Una Film announced.

The audience will also have the opportunity to watch “Testament” in all Bosnian and Herzegovina cinemas in the coming period, and from Thursday, October 23, the film’s distribution will begin in Croatia, and soon in Slovenia.

This project is given special weight, as stated, by the fact that the entire film was mostly financed by the producers and with the help of several responsible cantons and municipalities, co-producers, sponsors and friends of the film.

“Testament” is a humorous and emotional story set in a Bosnian village and industrial Zenica in the early 1990s, which in a unique way depicts the importance of a will and the consequences of its non-existence in local culture.
