mostar fair2Jubilee 20th International Trade Fair in Mostar ended yesterday. Traditional exhibition manifestation attracted a lot of attention this year and besides businessmen, also brought regional political leaders in Mostar.

The organizers expressed their satisfaction, exhibitors are still summing up impressions and visitors filled exhibition pavilions in the southern part of Mostar every day.

“As organizers, we are very satisfied, especially since we put in order all exhibitors on the anniversary two months ago, so we were able to devote ourselves to the organization, thus everything was neatly arranged, we are satisfied,” said the director of the fair, Dalfina Bosnjak.

This fair is a serious step forward in comparison to the previous one by all parameters.

“There were a lot of difficult years since the beginning of the economic crisis in 2008, but this was the best fair so far. True, we have worked all year. This is certainly one of the most successful trade fairs of all twenty previous ones. I would love the next one to be just like this one,” says the director Bosnjak.

Organizers particularly noted activity around Platform “16 + 1”, where China dominated with its economic activity. Bosnjak also noted engagement of this year’s partner country Croatia, which had a total of 70 exhibitors.

In about fifteen days will be known the final number of contracts that have been signed at the fair, and organizers noted that the three countries already expressed desire to be the partner country for the next year.

Exhibition pavilion “2” were occupied by large technology companies, telecom operators and exhibitors from the sector of heavy and metal industry, but between them stood an unusual exhibition space of Maticanka from Orasje, which is making products of wattles.

“We are here every year and we are satisfied as always. About 90 % of our products are made of boiled wattle. People recognize our quality, which is based on tradition and responsibility,” as stated from this unusual stand of one of the traditional crafts.

Exhibition space of company Lager Ltd. from Posusje, a regional leader in the sector of trade of construction machinery and mining equipment, looks completely different.

“I believe that we have maybe even the largest selection of new construction machinery in the entire Europe, and it is always good here, although we had a little bit of situation with bad weather because we expose on the open, between two pavilions”, said Ranko Bradaric from Lager Ltd.

In young businesses subject Sync from Mostar that is dealing with information technologies are also satisfied with the fair. Visitors had the opportunity to see a variety of sophisticated electrical equipment, especially drones.

The best exhibitors were rewarded, and everyone will now wait on the next 21st edition of the fair.
