Mourinho Found A Replacement: Edin Dzeko Is Leaving Fenerbahce

According to Turkish media, Edin Dzeko and Dusan Tadic will no longer be part of Fenerbahce’s team in the next season.

Reportedly, Jose Mourinho, the coach of the Istanbul club, has already decided to bring in Thomas Muller as their replacement. The German veteran is preparing to leave Bayern after more than two decades of loyalty to the club, and Fenerbahce is ready to offer him a one-year contract with the possibility of an extension for another season.

“Fenerbahce is interested in bringing in Thomas Muller. They are ready to offer him a 1+1 contract. Jose Mourinho wants him as a replacement for the departing Dusan Tadic and Edin Dzeko. He needs an experienced attacker and leader,” Turkish media reported.

Tadic, according to the same sources, is getting closer to returning to Ajax, while the fate of Edin Dzeko still remains unknown. There is no information on where the popular Diamond might continue his career.

Dzeko arrived at Fenerbahce last summer and immediately received the captain’s armband. He appeared 92 times for the club, scored 44 goals, and recorded 17 assists, leaving a strong mark on the team with his experience and leadership.
