Nebojsa Vukanovic, an SDS MP in the Republika Srpska National Assembly, was released after being detained by Trebinje police yesterday morning.

The police announced earlier that Vukanovic was arrested on Monday morning for disturbing public order and peace.

Bojan Stevic, the president of the District Court in Trebinje, said that he and Milan Bosic, the president of the Basic Court in Trebinje, were insulted by Vukanovic, which is why the police acted.

The President of the Serbian Democratic Party Mirko Sarovic, the Deputy Head of the Club of SDS MPs Nedeljko Glamocak and the MP of this party Tomica Stojanovic, as well as the MP from the PDP Ljubisa Krunic, together with about twenty other supporters of this party and Nebojsa Vukanovic’s party “For Justice and order ”protested in front of the Trebinje Police Department building due to the arrest of Nebojsa Vukanovic.
