demofestBanja Luka and Kastel are ready for the beginning of the sixth Jelen Demofest.

“There will be no rain, the beer will be cold, the bands are ready, the organizers are satisfied, and the entrance is free’’, said the organizers.

The doors of Kastel will open at 20:00. There will be 15 demo bands that will start at 21:00, who will compete to enter the finals.

While the jury decides who will perform on Saturday, there will be a performance by band Dede Putra from Bihać, which won last year’s third place of the fifth Demo Fest. After naming of the finalists, the long-awaited performance of Dubioza Kolektiv will take place, followed by SARS. For lovers of electronic music, from 1:30 there will be an afterparty stage.

The day program of the first day of the festival will include the opening of Pop Art Market at 16:00 in the Youth Center, the opening of an exhibition of Davor Gobac at 17:00 in DFK Pub and the opening of an exhibition of Strip RS in the Youth Center at 18:00.

The entrance for all events is free. There will be free WIFI at Kastel thanks to company m:tel, one of the sponsors of this year’s Demofest.
