The best skier from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elvedina Muzaferija, took 20th place in the downhill race at the Winter Olympic Games in Milan and Cortina, thus improving her career best placement at the Olympic Games.
Muzaferija started with serial number 22, and crossed the finish line with a time of 1:38.81, 2.71 seconds behind American Breezy Johnson, who won the gold medal. Germany’s Ema Ajher (+0.04) won the second place and the silver medal, while the bronze went to Sofia Godja from Italy (+0.59).
This is our best skier’s third participation in the Winter Olympics, and with today’s 20th position in the downhill, she surpassed her ranking from Beijing 2022, when she took 25th place in the Super-G discipline.
