National Assembly of Republika Srpska adopted the economic policy and the budget for 2013. The adopted budget is an amount of 1,945 billion BAM.
The Minister of Finance of Republika Srpska, Zoran Tegeltij said that the amount of tax and non-tax revenues in the budget of RS for the 2013 is in total 1, 531 billion of BAM.
Revenue projections in the budget for the next year, said Tegeltij, are based on its movement in the previous period of ten months in 2012, on the rebalance of the budget for the 2012, including one-offs and estimated effects of the law’s requirements in some of the revenues.
In 2013, the expenditures for the personal income were lowered by 56, 5 million in comparison to the year 2012, which makes in total more than 642 million BAM.
Lowered wages for 40 thousand workers and budget users struck great disapproval during discussion form the Opposition, who accused the Government of trying to save money for the budget on the expense of the police, education workers, and the officials in the judiciary and public institutions. Member of SDPB&H Slobodan Popović said that according to the economic policy, that it is safe to say that the Government of Republika Srpska will have to make a rebalance of all obligations because of the loss of all revenues by June 2013.
