The Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Weapons and Ammunition additionally abolishes administrative barriers to weapons procurement, said RS Republika Srpska representative Srdan Obradovic said during the session of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, RTRS reported.

Explaining this draft law at the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, Obradovic said that this removes legal provisions which, as one of the prerequisites for the procurement of weapons, required the obtaining of the conviction that a person is not conducting a misdemeanor offense.

If this law is adopted this means that in the Republic of Srpska, in the future, it will be possible to legally buy weapons and those who are subject to misdemeanor proceedings.
