National Erasmus+ Information Day in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Student Loans nap.baAll media are invited to cover the National Erasmus+ Information Day in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday, 11 November 2015, starting at 10:00hrs, at the ceremonial hall of the Rectorate of the University of Sarajevo.

The main objective of the event is to promote opportunities within Erasmus+ Program, with special emphasis on presentation of the new Calls for Proposals in area of higher education, including: capacity building for higher education, international credit mobility, joint master degrees, Jean Monnet activities, and other relevant opportunities in area of higher education.

The event is designed to present the key features of Erasmus+ program for a wide range of beneficiaries and stakeholders in area of higher education including higher education institutions, students, relevant ministries and other stakeholders. During the one day event, contribution from different stakeholders is expected in order to encourage discussion and development of project proposals.

The event should increase the awareness about Erasmus+ program and strengthen cooperation and links between higher education institutions and other relevant stakeholders in BiH.

Media is invited to cover the event and take statements before the beginning of the event, at 09:30hrs.

Erasmus+ is the EU programme for education, training, youth and sport. Erasmus+ started on 1 January 2014 and replaces current funding programmes run by the European Commission in the area of education, training, youth and sport, including the Lifelong Learning Programme (Erasmus, Comenius, Leonardo, Grundtvig and Transversal), Youth in Action and other international programmes including Jean Monnet and Erasmus Mundus. The Erasmus+ programme runs from 2014-2020 and supports activities in education, training, youth and sport across all sectors of lifelong learning including higher education, further education, adult education, schools and youth activities.
