In the 8th round of qualifiers for the World Cup 2018, the National football team of BiH won against the selection of Gibraltar with a score 4: 0 at the Algarve Stadium.

In the first half of the match, the dragons had an absolute dominance and they recorded 70 % possession of the ball and sent 16 shots to the goal stands of Gibraltar.

The captain of our selection finally scored in the 35th minute after several attempts and a good shot of Hadzic from the corner.

Dzeko had the best chance of a match in the last minute of the first half when he hit the goal stand.

Dragons doubled their advantage in the 65th minute when Kodro scored his first goal in the jersey of the national team of BiH on the assistance of Visca.

Lulic increased the result at 0: 3 after Milicevic’s free-kick from left, while captain Dzeko scored for the final 0: 4 with his second goal.

With the new victory, the selection of BiH passed Greece on the table of the H Group and it is now in the second place with one point more. Gibraltar remained in the last place.

To recall, with two wins until the end of qualifiers, our Dragons will go to the play offs if they are not the worst second-placed team.
