After last week’s visit of the highest decision-making body of the North Atlantic Council of NATO to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Commander of the NATO Headquarters Sarajevo, Brigadier General Pamela L. McGaha, reported today in Brussels to the highest military leaders from the countries of NATO and the European Union.
Speaking together with other senior leaders from the European Union and international NATO military personnel, Brigadier General McGaha thanked the member countries of the European Union and NATO Alliance for the recent visits and the contributions that the countries continue to make to the Defense Capacity Building Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
As part of this NATO initiative, Bosnia and Herzegovina has identified areas, including cyber defense, counter-terrorism and crisis response, in which it would like to benefit from international experts.
During the meeting, Brigadier General McGaha praised the highly trained members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina for their ability to support regional and international collective security and called on allies to continue to show unity “in support of our Partner to counter those who seek to foment insecurity, and, most importantly , to help Bosnia and Herzegovina take stable steps towards Euro-Atlantic integration”, Klix.ba writes.
